We’re excited to share an important milestone in our cyber security journey: we are now officially recognised under the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Advisor scheme.

This isn’t just a badge; it represents a verified standard of expertise, trust, and quality in how we deliver cyber security advice.

What is the Cyber Advisor Scheme?

The Cyber Advisor scheme, developed by the NCSC and delivered in partnership with IASME, is designed to give organisations confidence when seeking cyber security support.

It identifies and assures providers who can deliver reliable, practical guidance to help businesses implement essential cyber security measures. In short, it creates a trusted ecosystem where organisations know who to turn to, and what level of service to expect.

What’s Changed?

We’ve always provided cyber security advice and support to our clients. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is that this expertise is now independently assessed and formally recognised.

Craig Speirs, our Senior Cloud Consultant, has successfully achieved Cyber Advisor certification. This means our advice is now backed by the NCSC assurance framework, giving our clients even greater confidence in the guidance we provide.

What It Takes to Become NCSC Assured

Becoming an NCSC Assured Service Provider is not a simple tick-box exercise. It requires:

  • Certification: Passing the Cyber Advisor assessment and demonstrating competence in Cyber Essentials implementation
  • Registration: Being recognised through IASME as an official NCSC delivery partner
  • Company Credentials: Holding a valid Cyber Essentials certification
  • Quality Standards: Demonstrating strong security practices and quality management (such as ISO 9001 or IASME Cyber Assurance Level 2)
  • UK Presence: Operating within the UK or Crown Dependencies

This rigorous process ensures that only organisations meeting high standards of security and professionalism are approved.

Why This Matters for Our Clients

For the organisations we work with, this means:

  • Trusted advice aligned with national cyber security standards
  • Proven expertise in implementing Cyber Essentials controls
  • Confidence that you’re working with a recognised and assessed provider
  • Practical support to improve your cyber resilience

The Cyber Advisor scheme is ultimately about raising the baseline of cyber security across UK organisations and we’re proud to play a part in that mission.

Looking Ahead

Cyber threats continue to evolve, and so does the need for clear, reliable guidance. Becoming NCSC-approved is a significant step forward, but it’s just part of our ongoing commitment to helping organisations stay secure, compliant, and resilient.
