Mova engaged Bridgeall to assess its readiness for Microsoft Copilot and support a secure, effective rollout. Key concerns included sensitive data oversharing, poor-quality ROT data, licensing and ROI, governance, and user adoption.
Bridgeall reviewed Mova’s Microsoft 365 infrastructure, identity, permissions, endpoints, information protection, external sharing, and user lifecycle controls. The resulting roadmap provided a readiness health check, clear AI guardrails, and a practical safe-use playbook.
Bridgeall then delivered onboarding, adoption training, guidance, and reusable support materials. This enabled Mova to protect sensitive information, strengthen governance, improve user confidence, and proceed with organisation-wide Copilot deployment confidently and responsibly.
Mova company overview
Mova, the operating brand of Digital Mobile Spectrum Limited (formerly DMSL), is a UK-based organisation that manages major national communications and media infrastructure programmes from London. Jointly owned by EE, Three, Virgin Media O2 and Vodafone, Mova delivers important initiatives including the Shared Rural Network and TV interference mitigation services.

Our Copilot Readiness Assessment
Bridgeall’s Microsoft Copilot Readiness Assessment was chosen to address the challenges outlined above. The assessment is a multi-day consultancy engagement in which we conduct a comprehensive review and deliver a detailed recommendations report. It is divided into several key areas:
- Technical Readiness Assessment
This phase assesses the core Microsoft 365 infrastructure to confirm that it meets the strict technical requirements for running Copilot. Our consultants review the tenant configuration, licensing tiers and identity foundations to remove any service dependencies or compatibility barriers. By examining endpoint posture and the likely impact on service desk operations, we ensure the IT environment is stable and ready for a smooth pilot rollout.
- Data, Security & Governance Review
This phase uncovers hidden security risks by reviewing the digital estate for oversharing hotspots, overly broad permissions and structural governance gaps that could allow Copilot to surface sensitive corporate information unintentionally. We assess existing information protection baselines, external sharing controls and user lifecycle processes to define clear guardrails for AI use. The final output gives the board a robust Copilot governance model, pilot guardrails and practical acceptable-use frameworks to support a secure and compliant deployment.
Their Copilot Roadmap
We concluded the assessment with a clear, jargon-free Copilot roadmap. The report included:
- An Instant Health Check: A straightforward Ready / Not Ready traffic-light overview of their current IT environment, identifying any quick technical fixes or licensing adjustments required before launch.
- AI Guardrails: Practical guidance covering data sharing, user access and file security, helping to keep sensitive business information fully protected.
- A Safe-Use Playbook: A user-friendly guide to the dos and don’ts, giving staff the clear acceptable-use guardrails they need to use Copilot safely, responsibly and effectively from day one.
Supporting Their Copilot Rollout
Following the Copilot Readiness Assessment and roadmap, we moved into implementation. We had identified several priority areas that needed to be addressed to support a successful rollout. We delivered adoption and onboarding training for users, alongside guides and supporting materials they could continue to use. Together, these activities helped Mova gain greater value from Copilot.
