As you may be aware, Meta has officially announced the retirement of Workplace, its enterprise collaboration platform. According to Meta’s recent update, the platform will be phased out entirely by June 1, 2026, with a clear timeline starting as early as September 2025. Meta Workplace end of life timeline 

As always there are key dates you need to be aware of to ensure you are prepared. Here are some key dates for your diary:  

  • Until August 31, 2025: You will be able to continue using Meta Workplace as usual.
  • September 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026: Meta Workplace will only be accessible to read and download existing data.
  • June 1, 2026: Your access to Meta Workplace will be terminated and your Workplace will be deleted.
