Link and Weslo Housing Management – Office 365 Tenant Migration
Link Group, one of Bridgeall’s long standing customers, were selected by Welso Housing Management to be the preferred partner for the transfer of all homes and services. This meant that Link Group had two separate IT infrastructures that they were looking to merge to support greater collaboration and integration of the new business. Bridgeall were invited to work with Link and Weslo IT teams to assist the transition and Office 365 tenant migration works to complete the Weslo technical integration.
Whyte & Mackay – Streamlining the Product Innovation Process
Our client Whyte & Mackay required a solution to manage their New Product Innovation process. Bridgeall delivered a Power Platform and Office 365 based approach to rapidly deliver a solution for the team. This was achieved using Power Apps to create a centralised solution and automating business process steps with Power Automate.
V Ships – Keeping Shipping Lanes Open During a Pandemic with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
V.Ships engaged Bridgeall to design and implement a desktop virtualisation solution. Bridgeall ran a proof of concept for Azure Virtual Desktop and then rolled this out across the company.
WICS – Migration of Email and Shared Drive Content to the Cloud
Bridgeall implemented Office 365 for email and and migrate all file content from the on-premise shared drives into SharePoint Online in a structured manner. Consequently all versions of Office applications were upgraded and compliance ensured with Microsoft licensing.

Tennent Caledonian – Organisational Collaboration with a SharePoint Intranet
Bridgeall were engaged to design and deliver a SharePoint Online Intranet with the key aim of driving collaboration within the organisation.
The subsequent site was designed to fit with Tennent’s core corporate branding and included multiple feeds from social media and Google as well as feeds internally from Yammer.
SIA – M365 Migration & Adoption for the Security Industry Authority
Bridgeall worked in partnership with SIA to migrate them to Microsoft 365. Bridgeall migrated all services to Microsoft 365 with minimum disruption to SIA.
Scottish Ballet – A Modern SharePoint Intranet for Scotland’s National Dance Company
Building on the successful completion of other Modern Intranet Projects with a range of clients across diverse industries, and working in close collaboration with Scottish Ballet’s internal management team, Bridgeall quickly delivered these improvements using the Microsoft Modern SharePoint framework. The project rationalised a number of key business processes bringing important content and information into one place supported by a bright modern theme.
REMT – Comprehensive Email Security for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
Bridgell implemented an email security solution to provide the business with effective cyber resilience capabilities.The solution increases REMT’s cyber resilience capabilities thereby preventing potential ransomware incidents, eliminating the impact of email outages, preventing data loss and protecting against malicious web activity all supported by staff cyber security awareness training.
REMT – Supporting the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
The organisations microsite had been in use for several years and did not conform to up to date processes and ways of working, which resulted in additional manual work for REMT, with respect to organising performers and staff, as well as communication between the parties.
Bridgeall developed a responsive production microsite to provide key services and support to performers and staff. Working with the REMT team Bridgeall built a new microsite that reduced the manual effort, is easy to use for groups and performers, and can be used to distribute additional information prior to and during the event.
REMT – Enabling Remote Working Supported by Azure Virtual Desktop
With the rapid move to home working required as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic the organisation need a solution that would allow staff to access key business systems and continue to operate on a business as usual basis.
A Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solution was delivered to the REMT management & sales teams to facilitate remote working during the Covid-19 pandemic. AVD delivered a low risk, predictable and rapid desktop migration enabling a BYOD strategy and use of cost-efficient staff devices.
Robertson Group – Streamlined Governance and Information Management
On-time and within budget, Bridgeall successfully delivered a secure governance management solution built using SharePoint Online. With direct links to their existing project information management solution, the streamlined approvals and authorisation process delivered a single source of the truth and tracked accountability. The SharePoint solution simplified the document governance and approval workflow ensuring that forms being used for each project are the latest authorised versions.
Rathbones – Responsive SharePoint Online Research Database
Rathbones looked to modernise a database application based on SharePoint 2007. Bridgeall developed and built a research database solution on top of SharePoint Online allowing users of the solution to view the companies’ up to date stock market data as well as internal and 3rd party research all in one location.
NHS GGC – Effective Project Management for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde
The NHS GGC were looking for a PMO solution to help them manage 100s of projects. Utilising SharePoint Online and Power BI, Microsoft’s data visualisation platform, the Bridgeall solution delivered a cost-effective way of standardising processes and documentation to support all stages of the project management lifecycle, reducing the need for less efficient processes.
NHS NSS – Supporting the Digital Workplace with a SharePoint Intranet
Bridgeall designed and built a SharePoint platform customised to meet the specific user and business needs within NHS NSS and subsequently made a significant contribution to their strategic objectives of reducing the amount of staff time spent on administrative tasks, improving customer engagement and providing the development team with a single, efficient communications channel.
NHS NES – Job Re-Evaluation Platform Development for the NHS
Bridgeall delivered a solution architecture that considered the functional requirements of the system and requirements for integration into NHS Education for Scotland’s Turas Digital platform. The first phase of work engaged with the wider stakeholder community in NHS Scotland and identified a prioritised backlog of functionality that could be delivered, along with non-functional and data-migration requirements.
NHS NES – Supporting Professional Career Development in the NHS
The NES Nursing and Midwifery Career-long ePortfolio system allowed practitioners to record evidence of continuing professional development on an electronic platform however this system was not intuitive which meant that many health professionals did not use it and went back to paper-based re-validation.
Bridgeall was engaged by the Digital team at NHS Education for Scotland (NES Digital) to develop a new web application. Working closely with the NES product owners and UX team to refine user stories and develop appealing visual designs, the new system allowed users to generate evidence for re-validation in many formats, e.g. various forms, file uploads and professional details. The resulting application has been enhanced twice and is currently being used by 25,000 users.
Natural Power – A Bat Smart Curtailment System (BSCS)
NP, a leading independent renewable energy consultancy operating globally, required a system for the curtailment of wind turbines when a high risk of bat fatality is present on windfarms. In the US, the current blanket curtailment approach in response to high wind speed minimises bat fatalities (an endangered mammal) but at a significant economic cost to operators even when there are no bats in the area. Estimates suggest that 25% to 75% of curtailment hours may be unnecessary.
Working closely with NP and Elekon AG (a Swiss-based supplier of Batlogger equipment for recording and analysing the location of bats), Bridgeall custom developed the software underpinning a Bat Smart Curtailment System to minimise these economic costs. The system removes the need for blanket curtailment by monitoring bat activity in real-time, curtailing turbines only when relative risk value has reached a certain level.
MOSL – Settlements System for the Water Market in England
To fulfill its role as Market Operator for the world’s largest competitive water market, MOSL required a central solution to manage all market transactions and market-wide settlement of wholesale charges between the Wholesalers and Retailers.
Working in close partnership with the leading IT services provider CGI, Bridgeall successfully delivered the settlements sub-system at the heart of the Central Market Operating System (CMOS).Bridgeall developed the high-quality solution, which settles £2.5BN annually, over 15 months and after a further 6 months of market testing only 7 minor defects were detected.
McAllister Litho Group – Disaster Recovery with a Hybrid Cloud & On Premise Solution
McCallister Litho Group (MLG) is a dynamic print services and fulfilment company based in Glasgow.
MLG approached Bridgeall with an ageing group of servers and out of date business applications that required overhaul. They were also concerned about their ability to recover from a disaster should a major IT failure occur. Bridgeall produced a detailed options report providing several solutions with varying levels of cost. Key was the introduction of Cloud Services in Azure and Office 365 delivering significant improvements to the Business Continuity Plan.
The final solution consisted of a hybrid network of on premise and cloud based virtualised Windows Servers combined with Office 365, backed by a fully managed IT support contract covering business hours and 24/7 system monitoring.
Link Group – Enhanced Productivity with O365
One of the largest social landlords in Scotland, Link Group is a group of award-winning social enterprise companies serving over 15,000 customers.
In order to take advantage of the full potential of the O365 portfolio of services Link made the decision to migrate from Google G-Suite.
Bridgeall were appointed to help Link Housing Group move from the Google G-Suite cloud solution and onto the Office 365 platform. This involved the migration of all mailboxes, user and team data stores.Bridgeall established a migration farm hosted in Azure for the duration of the project where data was initially transferred and converted from Google to Microsoft format. All mailboxes for users and shared resources containing email, calendars and contacts were migrated in O365 exchange online. It was completed as a cutover migration for the entire organisation with around 800 users going live across a single weekend.

One of the largest social landlords in Scotland, Link Group is a group of award-winning social enterprise companies serving over 15,000 customers.
As part of an on-going relationship with Link, supporting the Group on its journey to becoming a Modern Intelligent Workplace, Bridgeall delivered a new Risk Assessment solution using Power Apps. The new solution delivered cost and productivity improvements by streamlining the process of raising actions, reviewing and approving Risk assessments before they are finally published for use.
Consequently, Risk Assessments are now worked through to an approved state producing a final Risk Assessment document for organisation-wide use.
